September-May
Mondays: 2-7pm

We are closed Sundays and Federal holidays.

How much does it cost to print?
Printing from public computers costs 10 cents per page for black and white, and 25 cents per page for color.
The photocopier is 15 cents per page.

How much does a library card (patron account) cost?
Gloversville Public Library cards are free when you first sign up. A replacement card may be issued to adults and teens for $1 and 50 cents for children. A new card will make the previous card useless.

What do I need to bring to get a library card?
Photo ID and verification of current address - utility bill, rent receipt, paystub, checking account, car insurance.
Children under 18 need to be signed up by a parent or guardian who possess those items.

How many movies can I check out at one time?
A teen and adult patrons may borrow up to 5 DVDs at one time and keep them for 1 week.

How old do I have to be to check out movies?
A patron with a teen or adult patron account may borrow movies and audiobooks. Teens must be 13 and have their parent/guardian/care giver sign them up for a teen account.  

Do you have computers?
We do have computers for public use that may be printed from for a small per-page fee. See printing costs above. We are also offer FREE WIFI so patrons may use their portable devices, e.g. phones, laptops, tablets.

Do you have faxing service?
Unfortunately we do not offer a faxing service. However, there are several businesses in the community that do, including Derby Office Supply on E. Fulton St., PostMark on Elmwood Ave., and Price Chopper on N. Main St.
