Coming in April 2016
The Gloversville Public Library will be participating in two upcoming health and wellness events: "Connecting our Generations Health and Wellness Fair" at the Johnstown Senior Center and Johnstown Community Center,109 East Main St, from 10am- 4pm on Saturday April 2; "Healthy Kids Day" at the Fulton County YMCA, 213 Harrison St, Johnstown, from 10am-1pm on Saturday April 9. There will be a variety of games presentations and resources related to health and wellness. Both events are free to the public.
The Gloversville Public Library will be hosting a visit to the Fremont Neighborhood Garden (83-89 Fremont St) on Saturday April 9 at 1:00PM. Patrons wishing to attend should plan to meet in the children's room of the Library @1:00PM for a short introduction before walking to the gardens. This is the first event in a series to introduce people, young and old, to the techniques and benefits of gardening. The series will include a visit to see plantings, and a session of starting our own plants at the Library to be added to the Community Garden when ready. This program is open to all ages, children must be accompanied by an adult.
The Gloversville Pubic Library Adult Spanish Class will be presenting class projects from 5:30-6:30 Pm on Wednesday, April 6. The public is invited to attend the presentations.
All programs are free to the public.
